Why CHAT?

The CNA/Nurse Aide Training Program is designed to allow individuals an opportunity to explore the world of healthcare. Moreover, this program is geared toward introducing the student to the nursing assistant profession. The program will provide students with a robust experience in the classroom, skills lab and clinical setting while providing the basic competencies required for practicing as a nursing assistant. The program will also equip students with the knowledge and skillset required by employers for entry into the workforce while complying with Tennessee regulations for both state and federal law. Upon successful completion of the program, the student will receive a Certificate of Completion from the institution and be eligible to apply and take the state competency exam.
